A riveting tale, <em>The Pet-Sit<\/em> moves beyond a simple missing person\u2019s case by exploring themes of abuse, trauma, and payback, while also centring healing and second chances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Established by author and ReBound Press founder, Peggy Blair, and sponsored by ReBound Press and Ottawa philanthropist, Barbara Crook, the Toby Award celebrates the talent of self-published Canadian mystery writers. The second annual Toby Award winner will be announced at the Rideau Lakes-Portland Library on May 24<sup>th<\/sup>, 2026.
