It’s that time again when the garden awakes and sends forth its bounty. Buds are swelling and bursting forth into beautiful leaves or spurts of flowers. That’s happening in the Silver garden and we are ready to share it with you.

Over the past 35 plus years ,we have opened the garden in June when the serviceberry, magnolias, pieris and of course the rhododendrons are in their magnificent bloom. There are also many weird and wonderful trees and shrubs throughout our woodland garden- like the umbrella tree, Zenobia, Katura and so on.
On June 14 between 10 and 4 we will be doing this again. As well as the garden show there will be local artisans-Coastal Makers Collective- selling their work. The local artisans consist of a woodworker ,a photographer,a glass artist, a potter, a local author and a paper flower artist. Beyond Harmony – a local trio- will also be here to entertain you.
This is all done as a fund raiser for FeedNS and has been a great success in the past. Now more than ever we need to support those in need. As well as non-perishable foods, monetary donations can be made with the aid of a tap machine supplied by FeedNS.
We hope to see you there.
