for the chance to again practice my driving technique on Highway 103 between exits 3 and 5. I am now again able to refresh my skills regarding sudden avoidance manoeuvres using slalom driving skills from years ago, now putting those rusty skills to use dodging potholes, cracked and broken pavement. I was able to increase my skill level in this regard starting early in 2025 and continue practicing all Summer until my manoeuvres practice came to a halt when the whole troubled section of highway was rather well repaired in October of 2025. Imagine my disappointment.

But here we are in early 2026 and I am delighted to be able to continue brushing up on my sudden avoidance manoeuvres skills with the same highway conditions as last year. With any luck, it will again be October before my practice ceases. There was a close call recently, when a construction crew closed off an outbound lane between exits 4 and 5. They repaired a 200-foot crack but thankfully they didn’t tamper with anything else, just like last year.

I hope all Highway 103 users are appreciating being able to practice their driving skills as much as I am.
